Like most people, I have spent a large part of 2020 online shopping. I realized I really like the Y2K/ 90's street-ware look which is different from my normal bohemian finds. I have loved shopping for a new style, and thought I would show you guys some of my favorite things I've boughten recently.
PRINCESS POLLY
Recently I've seen this criss-cross jean trend everywhere. I thought my only option was the $200 Agolde jeans, but then I saw these for 1/4 of the price, plus I like how the bottoms are more loose. These are so cute with any cropped shirt, and definitely makes you feel cool.
This is another shirt I've seen all over social media. I picture wearing it with a pair of loose leather jogger pants and white sneakers for going out or with a pair of light washed jeans and maybe a chunky cardigan for during the day.
REVOLVE
GRLFRND jeans (sold out)
These were on super sale which is one reason why I decided to get them. From watching hauls on Youtube, I've always heard of the brand Girlfriend from Revolve, but never owned anything. These do run a little large, but it works because loose jeans are in style right now. The cut of the waist band on these is really cool because each side angles down.
red cut out sweater (sold out)
I was also thinking about Boston when I got this sweater, but I thought it would be really cute with light washed jeans because the red is so bright, and the back has a cute cut out deal going on.
I feel like everyone on Youtube and Instagram is obsessed with Frankies, but i didn't know if I should believe the hype because most of their swim suits are very little material, but pretty expensive. I think I saw this style on Instagram one day, so I decided to just go for it, and I'm so glad I did. It's now my favorite swim suit, and the material is super good, so I can tell it's going to last a long time.
ARITZIA
Aritzia is known for their lounge wear. I have already worn this zip up hoodie so many times. It's perfect to throw on over a sports bra when your going to the gym or running errands. I also love wearing it with the shirt I featured below.
This is another one of my new all time favorites. It was expensive for a shirt like this, but the material is thick, so you know it's not going to get loose or saggy after a few washes. I'm obsessed with it, and I will definitely be getting more colors.
URBAN OUTFITTERS
I decided that while I'm on the basic cool girl trend, I might as well go all in, so I bought the Nirvana distressed oversized tee from Urban that everyone and their sister has. I will be honest. Does it make me feel cool even though I know everyone looking at me knows I'm basic? Yes. And that's enough for me.
