Recently I noticed a few items that have become essential in my life, and are custom to my needs. There are four things that will improve every girls life dramatically. I listed them below, and gave examples of what I use that has made my life so much easier and better. Half the time I can't imagine what I would do without these products and routines.
1. PERFUME
This is one of the most important items to have I think. Having a signature scent is essential. It's something you use everyday, and when you wake up in the morning and have a thousand things to think about like what you're going to wear or what you're going to have for breakfast (because breakfast is important), it's so nice not having to think about what perfume you're going to wear. My scent was Wish by Lollia. It is literally the perfect perfume. I am not really good at describing scents, but it's fresh and has a warm undertone to it. I'm trying to find a new one perfume though because humans associate scents with memories, and I used Wish throughout highschool, so I want to find a new scent for college. I've been using that perfume for so long that people at my school know that's my perfume. I usually keep it in the cup holder in my car, so I have it all times which I highly recommend. 2. AGENDA
This is another super important item to have. Every busy girl needs an agenda, and the best part is you can buy one that fits your life. I love my Day Designer. I hopped on the wave about two years ago when I saw all these Youtubers raving about it. The Day Designer is perfect if you are super busy or in school. The reason for that is because each day has a full page with a section for to-do's, schedule, notes, and top three things to accomplish as well as a quote for each day (I'll insert a picture above). You also get a month spread which is rare in agendas that have a whole page for each day. I liked using it for school because I was super involved, so I had a lot of meetings each day or sporting events that I would write down in the schedule part because it gets hectic writing more than two things on the month calendar. The to-do section was perfect for writing down homework, and then I would write down the homework that was due the next day in the top 3 things to accomplish section. Using the day designer keeps you so organized if you have a lot going on. If you don't have a lot of meetings than I suggest just getting a monthly calendar because its more simple and easier to see the overview of your schedule. Organization is one of the most important aspects of becoming successful in whatever you do and helps accomplish your goals.

3. GO TO BAG
Having a go to bag makes everything in your life easier. Your bag should be something that fits your style, so it goes with almost every outfit you wear. Don't choose a statement bag as your "go to" because then it will take away from your outfits and odds are it won't go with all your outfits. It's so easy having all your essentials in one bag that you can just grab and go without thinking about if you have everything you need. My bag is the Jennifer Haley "Bohemian" bag. Normally it's around $400, but I found it on Poshmark for $120. All I keep in it is my coin purse, wallet, keys, sunglasses, and mascara. It's the perfect size and I can wear it with anything from a formal dress to shorts and a t-shrit, and I get so many compliments on it.
4. WORKOUT/ HEALTH ROUTINE
Your workout/ health routine can be anything really; the important thing is that it works for you. Your workout can be anything from taking your dog on a walk every morning to running 7 miles. Personally, I love running, and I know I'm in the very small percentage that does. I say workout/ health routine because it's so important to have something you do for your mental health or spiritual health. Another thing, I love doing that focuses on both mental and spiritual health is yoga. For me, it's an all in one and I can do it at home or go to a studio. Yoga is great because it's one of the best workouts you can do for your body. At home I usually use the app Sworkit. Sworkit is great because it has a ton of different yoga practices and other work outs that you can do at home. Another practice that has multiple benefits it meditation. A few summers ago I got really into meditation, and I definitely saw the benefits. It really does make you more present and grateful.
